The Appalachian Mountains Joint Venture (AMJV) and University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science (UMCES) hosted the second Forests for Birds and People partner meeting on Wednesday, June 17th in Lexington, Virginia. After a successful initial meeting in 2025 focused on building a strong foundation for collaborating, this second meeting focused on co-developing key pieces of the comprehensive forest plan.
