Timeline

This timeline summarizes events during the five years of the project. The timeline highlights periods of (1) community input (partnership members provide advice, resources, or knowledge), (2) community participation (annual in-person discussions, collect monitoring data), and (3) co-design (collaborate to do work and make decisions for the regional forest plan). Foundational to the project is the core team, which is made up of forest researchers and community members, who will make key decisions for the project with the help of facilitators.

Although this project is only funded through 2030, we hope the partnership will continue well beyond. This includes integrating the results of monitoring efforts into future editions of the regional plan to ensure it accurately reflects the needs of wildlife and bird communities. It also includes ongoing and expanded involvement of community members to ensure their priorities are incorporated into the design and delivery of future plans.
